BARGO SPORTS CLUB WILL CONTINUE TO REQUIRE VACCINATION PROOF
AS A CONDITION OF ENTRY UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

We wish to inform our community that Canterbury-Hurlstone Park RSL Club Group has made the decision to extend the requirement of mandatory proof of COVID-19 vaccination (or medical exemption) as a condition of entry for staff and patrons (16 & Over). We will review this situation monthly. This requirement will apply to all of our Club venues.

Whilst Clubs remain under capacity restrictions, and with the continuing requirement of QR code check ins we do not believe that now is the right time to remove the requirement for proof of COVID-19 Vaccination (or exemption). 
With the continuing spread of the ‘Omicron’ strain of COVID-19, children returning to school, and the ongoing uncertainty of the impact it may have, coupled with varied rates of vaccination in our local communities, we will continue to maintain proof of COVID-19 vaccination (or exemption) as a condition of entry.

After engaging with our membership and our staff, we believe that this decision will be favoured by an overwhelming majority of our community, and that it is in the best interests of the health and safety of our staff, members and patrons at this time. We will continue to monitor the situation to determine when it will be appropriate for us to remove the policy.

*Children aged under 16 years must be accompanied by a vaccinated household member.

Under the Public Health Orders, if you are not fully vaccinated 
(or holding a medical exemption certificate) 
we are unable to allow you to enter the premises at this stage of the 'Reopening NSW Roadmap'.


When you arrive you will be required to: 

1. Provide an official COVID-19 vaccination record*

-Open your Express Plus Medicare mobile app,
click “Immunisation history” and then click “View COVID-19 digital certificate”
OR Access your COVID-19 digital certificate in your Apple Wallet or Google Pay
OR Present a hard copy of your immunisation history statement
OR Present a hard copy of a medical exemption


2. Check-in via the ServiceNSW QR Code

3. Swipe in with your Membership Card (visitors require acceptable I.D)

4. Follow the health and safety advice in our venue

*The NSW Government is developing a 'vaccine passport' which we expect to be available in a few weeks.
The 'passport' will enable your vaccination status to automatically display on your Service NSW '
check in' screen, following QR code scanning upon entry.
